Riverside's History
Chartered in 1998, Riverside Writers was formed in
Spotsylvania, VA and became a chapter of the Virginia Writers Club, an organization established in 1918 with eight chapters statewide.

The Extended Board has proposed, and the Executive Committee has approved, the
following schedule for acting on these revised bylaws, which are attached.
1. 23 May:
Greg will revise the draft with explanation of changes for Extended Board review.
2. 24
May: The ‘Final Draft Bylaws Revision’ will be circulated to the entire membership by email and posted to
the webpage. Members will have a week to review and comment.
3. 1 June: Member
comments and recommendations are due to Larry via email who will forward to the Extended Board. Recommendations
from members will be considered and adjudicated by the Extended Board not later than 7 June.
4.
8 June: The ‘Proposed Bylaws Revision’ with explanation of changes will be disseminated to the membership
for consideration.
5. 10 July: The ‘Proposed Bylaws Revision’ will be voted on
at the regularly scheduled RWC meeting.
